Quality Control Systems Manager is needed to perform the following duties:

Direct and manage enterprise-wide SAP S/4 quality control systems as an overall SAP S/4 Quality Specialist, covering SAP S/4HANA Finance, Logistics, FIORI, integrations, reporting, automation, performance, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production-readiness validation across the SAP landscape.

• • Establish quality strategy, governance model, quality gates, test standards, entry/exit criteria, and release readiness controls.
  • Lead global SAP quality delivery across business, functional, technical, automation, performance, and offshore/onshore teams.
  • Ensure SAP releases meet defined quality control standards before production deployment.

Develop, implement, and enforce SAP quality policies, test procedures, defect control processes, audit-ready documentation standards, and corrective/preventive action practices for large-scale SAP programs.

• • Define test plan templates, RTM standards, defect triage protocols, test evidence rules, closure report requirements, and quality sign-off procedures.
  • Maintain quality dashboards using HP ALM, JIRA, Q-Test, and related management tools.
  •  Ensure testing artifacts provide management visibility, traceability, and audit readiness.

Lead quality planning, inspection design, and risk-based validation across the overall SAP S/4 landscape, including Finance, Controlling, Logistics, FIORI, integrations, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, RE-FX/Lease Accounting, PTP, TCM, SCM, and T&E processes.

• • Define inspection methods for postings, reconciliations, payment runs, billing, clearing, aging, depreciation, intercompany activity, period-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Translate business requirements and functional specifications into measurable acceptance criteria and test coverage.
  • Validate accuracy, completeness, and control effectiveness across SAP financial processes and integrations.

Manage SAP Testing Center of Excellence activities as a SAP QA/Test Lead, including test strategy ownership, test execution oversight, quality governance, resource planning, test estimation, and stakeholder reporting across multiple concurrent SAP programs.

• • Lead SAP quality teams, including teams of 5, 10, and 15 members across onsite-offshore delivery models.
  • Assign testing work, guide QA analysts, review execution progress, remove blockers, and ensure team members follow approved SAP test procedures.
  • Review and approve test plans, coverage reports, dashboards, defect reports, closure reports, and quality sign-off documentation.
  •  Provide leadership updates, quality risk summaries, and go/no-go recommendations.

Plan, direct, and control SIT, UAT, functional, integration, regression, automation, performance, and hypercare validation activities as a SAP test lead for SAP releases and transformation milestones.

• • Lead execution governance for hundreds of SAP test scenarios and manage readiness across SIT-1, SIT-2, UAT, and regression cycles.
  • Coordinate testers, business users, functional consultants, automation resources, and offshore teams to complete assigned test execution within schedule and quality expectations.
  • Enable business users through structured UAT training, execution support, daily status tracking, and defect handling.
  • Control production transition through quality metrics, sign-off, and hypercare readiness validation.

Own defect lifecycle management, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, retesting controls, and quality trend analysis to prevent recurring SAP production issues.

• • Chair daily defect triage meetings and manage severity, priority, ownership, resolution, and closure quality.
  •  Analyze defect root causes, batch processing failures, interface issues, and process-control gaps.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve release quality and reduce future defects.

Design and govern SAP test automation strategy, architecture, framework, coverage model, execution standards, and automation quality reporting using TOSCA, Worksoft Certify, and Selenium.

• Build automation frameworks from scratch for SAP regression and integration testing.
• Select automation candidates, review automation coverage, validate execution results, review TOSCA, Worksoft Certify, and Selenium automation scripts for technical accuracy, control coverage, maintainability, and reusability, and approve automation scripts before inclusion in reusable SAP regression suites.
• Use automation outcomes as objective quality evidence for SAP release decisions
• Design and direct SAP performance quality systems, including workload modeling, KPI benchmarks, baseline methodology, bottleneck analysis, optimization recommendations, and performance-readiness certification for go-live.
• Establish performance test strategy and acceptance criteria for SAP RISE and global S/4HANA programs.
• Lead tool selection, stakeholder buy-in, licensing considerations, scalability planning, and test factory execution.
• Certify production readiness based on performance evidence, usage patterns, and quality risk evaluation.
• Evaluate SAP system changes, enhancements, integrations, migrations, and release scope to determine risk, test impact, quality control requirements, and required regression coverage.
• Conduct risk-based test planning for SAP Finance, Logistics, FIORI, ECC-to-HANA, third-party integrations, and data flows.
• Define regression pack scope and change validation controls for every release cycle.
• Escalate quality risks, schedule risks, control gaps, and unresolved defects to program leadership.
• Manage quality inspection and validation for financial data, integration accuracy, reconciliation outcomes, system interfaces, batch processing, reporting, and business process controls.
• Validate SAP-to-third-party integrations such as Concur, DocuWare, Kyriba, OANDA, and related finance-processing systems.
• Ensure source-to-target accuracy, reconciliation completeness, posting correctness, clearing accuracy, and reporting reliability.
• Escalate data defects and process-control failures for corrective action
• Prepare and present quality performance reports, dashboards, defect analytics, RTM reports, execution metrics, performance results, automation coverage, risk logs, and release readiness summaries to program leadership.
• Provide daily and weekly management reporting on quality status, schedule risk, defect health, and unresolved blockers.
• Summarize test matrices, dashboards, coverage reports, and closure reports for leadership review.
• Support go/no-go decisions using measurable quality evidence.
• Coordinate with business owners, SAP functional consultants, architects, developers, integration teams, automation engineers, performance engineers, client leadership, and offshore delivery teams to resolve quality issues and maintain governance compliance.
• Lead stakeholder meetings, test status calls, business reviews, defect triage sessions, release planning meetings, and quality closure reviews.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment on test scope, readiness, corrective actions, ownership, and release decisions.
• Manage communication between business and technical teams to protect SAP quality outcomes.
• Train, mentor, supervise, and lead QA team members and business users on SAP quality standards, test execution procedures, defect documentation, automation execution, financial validation methods, and release evidence requirements.
• Guide QA teams in SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, RE-FX, SIT, UAT, regression, automation, and performance test practices.
• Lead team-level test execution meetings, assign responsibilities, review team deliverables, and ensure compliance with defined quality procedures.
• Promote consistent quality practices across global SAP delivery teams.
• Continuously improve SAP quality control systems by identifying process gaps, automation opportunities, performance risks, defect trends, testing inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and release-governance improvements.
• Recommend process improvements to increase testing effectiveness, reduce cycle time, improve coverage, and prevent production defects.
• Standardize quality governance models across manual, automation, performance, SIT, UAT, and regression scopes.
